The basilica sells its own tickets online, on its website and app, and every one is for a set entry time. There are four types, from basic entry with the app audioguide to a guided tour with a tower, with reductions for seniors, under-30s and students.
Tour operators on Viator sell entry with their own guide on top, at a higher price. Below are the official 2026 prices and the live Viator from-prices; the checkout price is the one that counts.

Every ticket includes entry to the basilica and the audioguide in the official app; the others add the official guided tour, a tower, or both.
- Sagrada Familia (26 EUR): entry and the app audioguide in 19 languages.
- With guided tour (30 EUR): an official guided tour of about 50 minutes; plan about 1 h 30 for the whole visit.
- With towers (36 EUR): a lift up a Nativity or Passion tower; you walk down.
- With guided tour and towers (40 EUR): both.

What does fast track or skip the line really mean?
It means a pre-booked timed slot: you skip the ticket queue, not the security check.
Every ticket, official or on a tour, is for a fixed time, and the official terms are strict: "If you arrive late, you won't be able to enter." Everyone goes through bag checks and metal detectors, and guests report waits at security even with skip-the-line tickets. Julià Travel warns of 20 to 30 minutes.

The official guided tour with a tower is 40 EUR; tower tours on Viator cost $89 to $116. The extra pays for flexibility and a longer tour, not a different basilica.
Official tickets are, as a rule, not exchangeable or refundable. Viator tours cancel free up to 24 hours before, last 1 h 15 to 2 hours with radio earphones, and some run small groups. If you can book the official site weeks ahead and are happy with the 50-minute official tour or the app, direct is cheaper.

Are Sagrada Familia tickets refundable?
Official tickets are essentially non-refundable: as a general rule there are no exchanges or returns, and exceptions apply only if a closure or similar problem outside your control stops you visiting.
Accepted exchanges have to be within 15 days. Towers are a separate risk: they close for rain, wind and events, with no official refund for the tower part. Viator tours cancel free up to 24 hours before, but a refund for a tower that closes on the day is not guaranteed: guest reports range from a refund to a flat refusal, so check each operator's terms; some tickets cannot be changed once issued.
How far ahead should you book Sagrada Familia tickets?
Two to three weeks ahead in busy months, and earlier if you want a tower or a particular time: tours sell out too.
When we checked on 28 September 2026, most guided tower tours on Viator had their next open date around 15 to 20 October. On-site QR codes for direct purchase depend on how busy it is, so do not count on buying at the door. For the best hours to go, see the best time to visit.

Under-11s and disabled visitors go free; seniors, under-30s and students pay less on every ticket type.
Reduced prices run from 21 EUR (seniors, basic entry) to 38 EUR (under-30s and students, guided tour with towers). A free ticket does not mean a tower for everyone: under-6s cannot go up, and 6 to 16s need an adult. On Viator, check each listing's age bands; the fast-track tour counts adults from 19. Is the Sunday mass a free way to see the Sagrada Familia?
Not really: the International Mass at 9 AM on Sundays and holy days of obligation is free, but it is a service with limited capacity, not a sightseeing visit.
Entry is through the Nativity facade on Carrer de la Marina, and there is also a Saturday evening mass at 8 PM. Come to worship, and book a ticket if you want to explore. The dress code applies either way.
